Grass Fed Protein Plus helps you maintain lean muscle mass, stay energized, and more!

Today’s American diet is packed with carbs, trans fats, and sugar—all making it difficult to get enough protein and fiber in your diet. Both of which support immune health, healthy aging, maintaining lean muscle mass, and overall wellness. And if you’re a busy professional, recreational athlete, or age 50+, it’s even MORE important to get enough protein in your diet, alongside a regular resistance training and exercise program. That's because as you age, your body starts to lose its ability to maintain lean muscle, which is so vital to maintaining a healthy, active life.

Sourced from 100% New Zealand grass-fed, non-GMO, hormone-free dairy cows, Grass Fed Protein Plus protein powder with digestive enzymes features an easy-to-digest blend of whey and casein for a long-lasting source of protein. PLUS, fiber and healthy fats, as well as a digestive enzyme complex to help you easily digest the protein—something you won’t find in ordinary protein powders! Grass Fed Protein Plus provides all of this in one naturally sweetened, smooth, creamy, rich chocolatey protein powder. It’s SO tasty, it’s almost sinful!

  • 15 grams grass-fed, hormone-free protein to support lean muscle mass
  • 6 grams non-GMO fiber to help keep you full and regular—with no gas or bloating!
  • 5 grams rapidly metabolizing healthy fats to help keep you full and energized
  • 9 essential amino acids for a “complete” protein source
  • Digestive enzyme complex for easy digestion
  • Delicious, naturally flavored Dutch chocolate
The real scoop on protein and muscle mass

Fuels your muscles with a long-lasting source of protein

When it comes to protein powder, you want one that’s not only fast-acting and easy to digest, but one that is made without hormones, antibiotics, and artificial flavors or sweeteners. And one that provides a long-lasting source of protein. Plus, all 9 essential amino acids.

My protein powder with digestive enzymes delivers just this, using a blend of both quick-digesting whey and slow-digesting casein (milk) protein to help you support lean muscle mass and help keep you full, regular, and energized. Supplementing with both types of protein, in combination with a regular exercise and resistance training program, can help build lean mass and improve fat-free mass.

And, since the protein is sourced straight from New Zealand grass-fed, non-GMO, hormone-free dairy cows, you can rest assured it’s free of hormones like rBST and rBGH, as well as antibiotics and artificial flavors or sweeteners.

Fiber fills you up and helps curb appetite

This tasty protein powder with digestive enzymes also features non-GMO Nutriose® Maize Fiber, a water-soluble fiber that quickly dissolves in water. By quickly dissolving, it’s able to help to slow the release of sugars into the bloodstream and helps to promote normal cholesterol levels, both of which are critical for optimal heart health.

With 6 grams of Nutriose fiber in every scoop, you’re getting the support you need to help reduce appetite, increase feelings of fullness, promote regularity and overall gastrointestinal health, and support cardiovascular health…all without the gas and bloating that often is experienced with other fiber supplements. And, no gritty texture either! This truly makes Grass Fed Protein Plus a great protein powder for seniors, as well as active adults and athletes, looking to boost both their protein AND fiber intake!

In fact, a clinical study of 43 men between the ages of 20–45 showed that Nutriose is well tolerated and will not cause gas and bloating like many fiber supplements.*

Healthy fats for a quick source of energy

I’ve included 5 grams of medium chain triglycerides (MCTs) to absorb rapidly into the bloodstream, helping to give you a ready and lasting supply of energy for your day. Whether you’re playing recreational sports, going to the gym, or just doing your daily activities, these healthy fats are also easier for your body to digest, more quickly burned as energy, and less likely to be stored as fat—talk about a triple threat!

Digestive enzymes for easy, gentle digestion

With thousands of protein powders on the market, I know it can be overwhelming to choose the right one. Most provide a quick way to load up on protein, but often without keeping your heart and overall health in mind. Not to mention, how difficult it can be to digest a large amount of protein. This is especially important since as we age, we tend to slowly lose the vital digestive enzymes our body needs to break down food. This can lead to indigestion, bloating, gas, constipation, and more, especially if you’re not eating whole, natural foods most of the time.

That’s what makes Grass Fed Protein Plus a particularly good protein powder for seniors, because I’ve added a digestive enzyme complex to help easily digest the 15 grams of protein. It’s there to help to break down the protein for easy and smooth digestion, as well as help with better nutrient absorption.

Great for active adults, weekend warriors, and seniors!

The truth is, exercise alone is not enough to maintain muscle mass. And the more protein you eat, the more muscle your body makes! If you’re a recreational athlete filling your weekends with hikes, golfing, and other sports or you’re 50+, it’s likely you need MORE protein for your body to function at its best.

Great for everyone!

  • Busy, on-the-go professionals
  • Active adults
  • Recreational athletes
  • Seniors
  • Weight loss warriors

My Grass Fed Protein Plus protein powder with digestive enzymes provides you with a quick, easy way to recover post-workout or to give your diet the daily protein boost it may need. Take it alongside your yogurt in the morning, mix it into a smoothie—the options are endless. Either way, it’s a tasty, convenient way to get an extra 15 grams of protein plus fiber, metabolizing dietary healthy fats, and digestive enzymes in one delicious, smooth and creamy, rich chocolatey protein powder!

Science and Quality

Protein Blend: Milk protein concentrate and whey protein

Proteins are large complex molecules that play many critical roles in the body. They do most of the work in cells and are required for the structure, function, and regulation of the body’s tissues and organs.

  • The milk and whey proteins in this protein powder with digestive enzymes are sourced from grass-fed, hormone-free New Zealand dairy cows.
  • These dairy cows produce milk seasonally for manufacture—they are milked in spring, summer, and autumn but dried off in winter. The warm climate allows the cows to roam the open pastures to graze on chemical-free and pesticide-free pastures, thereby avoiding the need for supplements including grain. The protein blend provides a “complete” protein, containing all 9 essential amino acids.
  • New Zealand grass-fed dairy cows are not treated with growth hormones or antibiotics—rBST and rBGH free!

The current Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) for protein to meet the needs of adults over the age of 19 (unless pregnant or lactating) is 0.8 grams/kg per day (or 0.36 grams/pound of body weight per day.) Nutritional surveys of older people say that up to 30% consume the RDA or less each day. Some researchers believe that the current RDA is too low to meet the dietary protein needs of most older adults. Adequate protein intake:

  • Provides the building blocks for protein synthesis, muscle maintenance, muscle repair, and exercise recovery
  • Slows muscle tissue breakdown
  • Supplementing with whey and milk protein, in combination with a regular exercise program, can help improve lean mass and fat-free mass.

Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCTs): A source of healthy dietary fats

  • A rapidly absorbed source of fuel that the body can utilize quickly for energy
  • MCTS are rapidly metabolized and may help increase thermogenesis more than other dietary saturated fats (long-chain triglycerides)
  • Substituting MCTs for other dietary fats may increase satiety and reduce overall food intake

Nutriose® Maize Fiber: An excellent source of soluble fiber

  • Made from non-GMO corn and is an excellent source of fiber
  • Promotes regularity and bowel function
  • Supports healthy colon function and elimination of waste
  • A clinical study of 43 men between the ages of 20–45 showed that Nutriose is well tolerated and will not cause gas and bloating like many fiber supplements.*

Digezyme® Digestive Enzyme Complex: Helps facilitate digestion

  • Digestive enzymes help break down fat, protein, carbohydrates, and fiber
  • Assists in the metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats for energy production
  • Stimulate the digestive process and supports lactose digestion and utilization
  • Digezyme features lipase, cellulase, protease, and amylase
    • Lipase: breaks down fats into an absorbable form
    • Cellulase: breaks down cellulose to beta-glucose, a more simple sugar. Cellulose is the structural component of many green plants that may be difficult to digest.
    • Protease: facilitates the breakdown of proteins. Helps to break down the large protein molecules by breaking the interior bonds of its peptides.
    • Amylase: breaks down starches by breaking them into simple sugars glucose and maltose by breaking down the interior bonds of polysaccharides.
