Science and Quality
Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil
Sunflower seed oil has emollient properties that help the skin retain moisture. It improves your skin’s moisture retention capacity and is beneficial for individuals with dehydrated or sensitive skin.1
Cera Flava (Beeswax)
Beeswax is the wax obtained from the honeycombs of the honeybee and has long been used in cosmetics for moisturizing the skin. Beeswax is insoluble in water, which allows it to create a waterproof barrier on your lips while still allowing the skin to breathe.
Cocos Nucifera (Coconut Oil)
Cocos nucifera, also known as coconut, originates in Southeast Asia and the islands between the Indian and Pacific Ocean. Coconut oil has many different traditional uses including moisturizing the skin.
Mixed Tocopherols (Vitamin E), Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, and Calendula Officinalis (Calendula) Flower Extract
Trilane Lip Balm contains a combination of vitamin E, organic rosemary extract, and organic calendula extract. Vitamin E is an essential nutrient and is a well-known antioxidant.2 Rosemary is an evergreen shrub that grows abundantly along the north and south coasts of the Mediterranean Sea as well as the sub-Himalayan areas. It has a long history of being cultivated since the ancient days in England, Germany, France, Denmark, and other countries.3 Calendula officinalis is an annual herb originating in the Mediterranean region. It is commonly known as marigold or maravilla. Marigold flowers contain a high amount of antioxidant compounds.4 Calendula extract has been shown to help moisturize the skin.5
