For best results, after cleansing with Trilane Gentle Cleanse and using the Rejuvenating Eye Cream, apply Trilane Retinol + Vitamin C serum to the face, neck, and décolletage, and allow the product to absorb into the skin for several minutes. Then apply any of Trilane’s Moisturizer products like Trilane Anti-Aging Moisturizer or use it alone and apply make up after application.
Q. Are there any side effects associated with Retinol + Vitamin C serum?
A. Normally, retinol has the potential for skin irritation in some individuals but unlike many retinol products, because of the addition of bakuchiol which works similarly to retinol, Retinol + Vitamin C serum is much gentler and soothing making it perfect for sensitive skin. To reduce the potential of skin irritation, apply the product every other night for the first week. After the skin has adapted, the product can be applied every night. Retinol may increase the skin’s sensitivity to sunlight, so it should not be applied in the morning or before exposure to sunlight. Apply SPF protection during the day.
