Clinical grade, plant powered probiotic formula features key strains backed by more than five clinical studies
+ a unique fermented botanical blend!

You NEED the microorganisms that live in the soil… but modern mass farming and our antiseptic fear of “germs” have stripped us of these natural protectors.

Our guts are missing out on the bacteria that lives in soil and thrives in your gut. You get three highly beneficial types of soil-based organisms (SBOs) for optimum microbiome support including B. subtilis DE111 and B. coagulans LactoSpore, usually missing from other formulas.

Lactic acid-based strains are absolutely essential because they help maintain a healthy flora balance by crowding out unfriendly bacteria.

Every dose includes six advanced, numbered probiotic strains of Bifidobacteria and Lactobacilli—two beneficial inhabitants found in your GI tract and absolutely essential in a broad-spectrum formula.

Even as recently as 20 years ago, most people thought a healthy bacteria balance was all that was needed to maintain gut health.

..But now we know that a healthy yeast balance is just as important because it helps crowd out the undesirable yeast you DON’T want in your gut. You’ll get two of the top yeast-based strains—S. boulardii and S. cerevisiae.

Fermented foods are great for the gut—but who wants to eat sauerkraut, kombucha, and kimchi for days upon days? A unique blend of fermented whole food botanicals—organic turmeric, organic ginger, and chlorella—come together to support the work of the probiotics. Something you won’t find in ordinary probiotics!

Science and Quality

Soil-Based Blend

Gut Restore Advanced contains a Soil-Based Probiotic Blend consisting of three spore-forming, soil-based probiotic strains:

  1. Bacillus coagulans MTCC 5856 (LactoSpore®):

Two particular studies have shown positive effects with 2 billion CFU using LactoSpore B. coagulans. One randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial with 31 participants showed that 2 billion CFU of LactoSpore® B. coagulans reduced GI discomfort compared to placebo over a 90-day study period with individuals also reporting an improvement in quality of life.1

In another randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial with 40 individuals, results showed that supplementation with LactoSpore B. coagulans led to an improvement in mood and support of mental health, a reduction in gastrointestinal discomfort, and an improvement in digestive quality of life.2

  1. Bacillus subtilis (DE111®):

In a double-blind, placebo-controlled randomized study, 50 adults took 1 billion CFU of DE111 B. subtilis daily for 90 days. The subjects consuming the B. subtilis saw a significant increase in normal stools based on scoring according to the Bristol Stool Chart by days 75–90 compared to placebo. The results indicate that DE111 consumption promotes stool regularity, digestive health, improved bowel movements and healthy intestinal transit while improving occasional constipation or diarrhea.3

  1. Bacillus clausii SNZ-1971:

B. clausii is a spore-forming bacterial strain that is found in soil and in the GI tract. The strain is specifically found in alkaline nitrate-rich soil, where it converts nitrate to nitrite.

Yeast-Based Blend

Natural strains of yeast are found in the soil, surface of plants, and in insects and warm-blooded animals. Gut Restore Advanced provides two unique yeast-based probiotics of the Saccharomyces genera, which are normal components of the gut microbiome.

  1. Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNCM I-3856:

The Human Microbiome Project cohort conducted a study on 317 human stool samples from 147 volunteers. Results showed that S. cerevisiae was the most prominent fungal genera present in the samples with a prevalence of 92.2%. This suggests that S. cerevisiae is a commensal in the human GI tract and part of the core gut mycobiome.4

  1. Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I-3799:

S. boulardii is a common fungal inhabitant in the GI tract and plays an important role in supporting intestinal health. This genome-sequenced yeast-based S. boulardii strain is sourced from France and produced in Belgium.

Lactic Acid-Based Blend

Gut Restore Advanced contains a blend of three Bifidobacteria and three Lactobacilli strains, featuring the clinically researched and genotypically documented strain Bifidobacterium lactis HN019™ (shown to be bile and acid resistant) plus Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG.

  1. Bifidobacterium lactis HN019™:

One triple-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled study on 100 adults consuming either 1.8 Billion CFU B. lactis HN019, 17.2 Billion CFU B. lactis HN019 or placebo found a significant decrease in gut transit time for the B. lactis groups. Subjects in the B. lactis groups also reported significant improvement in gastrointestinal symptoms such as regurgitation, flatulence, nausea, irregular bowel movements, abdominal pain, gurgling, and constipation.5

Another 4-week randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study found that consumption of varying levels of B. lactis HN019 including 1 Billion CFU daily helped maintain a balanced environment in the gastrointestinal tract and the overall bifidobacteria and lactobacilli population increased as well.6

  1. Bifidobacterium bifidum BB01 (DSM 22892)
  2. Bifidobacterium longum BL03 (DSM 16603)
  3. Lactobacillus acidophilus LA02 (DSM 21717)
  4. Lactobacillus plantarum LP01 (LMG P-21021)
  5. Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG ATCC 53103

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What benefits will I notice?
A. You should be able to feel a reduction in digestive discomfort, digestive upset, daytime drowsiness, and reduced digestive issues such as occasional constipation and diarrhea. You may also see an improvement and mood, skin health, and overall quality of life. Some individuals may feel worse for a short time before feeling better, which is normal due to the change in balance in the digestive system.

Q. When should I begin to feel a difference?
A. You should start to feel a difference in as little as one week while some customers report it has taken up to two weeks or longer to notice a difference. This is a “stick with it” product that continues to provide benefits the longer it is taken.

Q. What are CFUS?
A. Look at the label to see how many colony forming units (CFU’s), or number of probiotics are packed in a formula. It is now more widely believed that strain diversity can be more beneficial than the total probiotic count. That is why Dr. Drew Sinatra formulated Gut Restore Advanced with a wide variety of 11 strains to support the health and diversity of the entire microbiome.

Q. How many strains and CFUs are in Gut Restore Advanced?
A. Gut Restore Advanced contains 11 diverse strains in a blend of 13 billion live probiotics guaranteed even on the last day of expiration as listed on the bottle.

Q. What is the microbiome?
A. The human microbiome includes, among other components, the bacteriome and the mycobiome. The bacteriome is the part of the microbiome consisting of bacterial species while the mycobiome is the often-overlooked mix of fungal and yeast organisms, many of them beneficial as well. The gut is home to more than fifty genera of fungi with Candida, Saccharomyces and Cladosporium species being particularly common. Not only are they present, but research is finding that, like the bacterial components, the normal yeast inhabitants of the gut also play a substantial role in maintaining health.

Q. Why include bacteria- yeast-, and soil-based strains?
A. There is a whole ecosystem of bacteria, fungus, and yeast that exists in the gut called the microbiome and supporting the flora that live there is the key to digestive health and comfort. Most ordinary probiotics only contain bacteria, providing just a partial solution—thus completely ignoring the role that fungi and yeast play in digestive health. But it is more than just bacteria that can wreak havoc in your gut. That is why you need a probiotic with more than just bacteria to positively impact your gut health.

Q. How should I store Gut Restore Advanced?
A. Gut Restore Advanced does not need to be refrigerated. The potency of the live organisms is guaranteed until the expiration date on the bottle and to preserve quality and freshness, should be stored with bottle closed in a cool dry place.

Q. When should I take Gut Restore Advanced?
A. It is recommended that you take one capsule daily with one of your larger meals to achieve the full effect.

Q. What is the Smart Release Delivery?
A. This technology utilized with Gut Restore Advanced protects the hardy strains from dissolving in the harsh environment of the stomach. The capsules protect strains from degradation before making it to the gut where they are needed for maximum effectiveness.

Q. Is Gut Restore Advanced allergen friendly?
A. Not only is Gut Restore Advanced vegan and made without artificial preservatives, flavors, and dyes, but it is also tested by a third-party laboratory for each of these allergens as established by the FDA and shown to be free of common allergens including dairy, gluten, soy, fish, shellfish, peanuts, and eggs.

Q. Does Gut Restore Advanced contain artificial sweeteners, artificial preservatives, artificial dyes or high-fructose corn syrup?
A. No, this product is free of the above ingredients.

Q. What quality assurances come along with Gut Restore Advanced?
A. Gut Restore Advanced is produced in a United States manufacturing facility with ingredients from around the world and comes with a 100% satisfaction guarantee and our Triple-Testing Philosophy™—stringent quality standards that meet all industry Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and FDA requirements to ensure potency, purity, and integrity.
