Advanced Blood Flow Support

Clinically studied and traditionally used nutrients support healthy circulation, blood flow, and heart health

Additional Product Details

This exclusive combination of 6 Key Nutrients works to support healthy circulation, blood flow, and more!

Your circulatory system and heart rely heavily on each other. Because with every heartbeat, blood is pumped through a system of blood vessels that carry blood to every part of your body, delivering critical nutrients and oxygen to every cell.

Advanced Blood Flow Support combines the best of clinically studied ingredients with tried-and-true traditional remedies to help keep blood platelets smooth so your blood and blood cells flow through your arteries and veins freely and smoothly, which is essential to circulatory and cardiovascular health.

Clinically studied ingredients help keep blood flowing freely

Healthy blood flow is KEY for both your circulatory and cardiovascular health, which go hand in hand. And for healthy circulation, you need to help keep platelets smooth so they can circulate normally through the blood vessels for optimal blood flow throughout your entire body.

Advanced Blood Flow Support features two “superstar” ingredients: Fruitflow® Water Soluble Tomato Concentrate and MK-7. Derived from tomatoes, Fruitflow is a breakthrough ingredient that helps with platelet aggregation and therefore blood flow. This means it helps keep platelets (cells) smooth to help promote normal blood flow and circulation, which in turn benefits your heart, veins, and arteries!

While Fruitflow goes to work helping to keep your platelets smooth and free-flowing throughout your body, MK-7—the most active, highly absorbable form of vitamin K2—helps shuttle calcium to your bones. MK-7 helps support healthy circulation, blood vessels, and strong bones. In fact, one of the most impressive studies on K2, known as the Rotterdam Study, suggests that subjects with the highest intake of vitamin K2 exhibited the best cardiovascular health!

Super antioxidant Extramel® fights free radicals; supports healthy vascular tone

Advanced Blood Flow Support also contains clinically studied Extramel—a patented melon juice extract rich in superoxide dismutase (SOD), a remarkably powerful antioxidant that helps take down superoxide, a damaging free radical that causes oxidative stress throughout the body.

SOD is not only your body’s first defense against free radicals, it also supports healthy vascular tone, which helps regulate blood flow throughout the body, and provides adequate blood flow to tissues.

Tried-and-true nutrients support circulatory and cardiovascular health

We’ve also included grape seed extract to help reduce oxidative stress and maintain healthy nitric oxide levels, which helps facilitate healthy, smooth blood flow. Plus, vitamin C and a citrus bioflavonoid complex for even more antioxidant and cardiovascular support.

Science and Quality

Fruitflow ® Water-Soluble Tomato—150 mg

Fruitflow is a bioactive food ingredient made from tomatoes. Studies from European Union countries have shown it to have beneficial effects on blood flow and blood platelet function when taken with a glass of water or other liquid.

Platelets are cells that circulate normally in the blood. Keeping the platelets in a “smooth” form helps them to circulate normally through the blood vessels, helping to keep them healthy. Fruitflow exerts its effects on blood flow through actions on platelet function.

  • A Scientific Opinion of the Panel on Dietetic Products, Nutrition and Allergies published in 2009 in the journal of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) reports that lycopene-free and fat-free water-soluble tomato concentrate (WSTC) has been substantiated to reduce platelet aggregation, in vitro and ex vivo. The report confirms the claim “reduction in platelet aggregation” is relevant to a population of healthy adults between 35 and 70 years of age. The Panel considers that maintaining normal platelet aggregation is beneficial to human health.1
  • A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical study with 90 healthy subjects indicates that water-soluble tomato extract (200 mL drink containing minimum 6 g tomato extract equivalent to 150 mg powder, after 3 hours, helps improve cardiovascular health by reducing platelet activation, which could impact arterial health. No significant effects were observed for placebo.2

Grape Seed Extract—100 mg

In northern Europe grape extracts were used in the past to make ointments, while the leaves were used to stop bleeding, inflammation, and pain. Even unripe grapes were picked to soothe sore throats and dried grapes used for constipation or thirst. Grapes were also traditionally used to treat a wide range of health problems. Grape is the primary ingredient in the Ayurvedic herbal preparation Darakchasava, which has been used as a cardiotonic. 3

  • A 6-week randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled pilot clinical study with 26 subjects, showed that 350 mg/day grape seed extract reduced markers of oxidative stress.

Extramel ® Melon Juice Concentrate—10 mg

Extramel is a patented melon juice concentrate rich in superoxide dismutase (SOD), the main enzyme of the enzymatic antioxidant defense system of the body. SOD is one of the body’s most important endogenous antioxidants. SOD is an extremely fragile antioxidant enzyme and therefore maintaining its level is critical to health.

Extensive research has revealed the Extramel melon has a high quantity of coenzyme Q10, carotenoids, glutathione, selenium, and vitamins A, C, and E.

Controlling the tissue levels of superoxide is critical for health, especially for circulatory health, because it helps maintain healthy nitric oxide levels. SOD is an enzyme that plays a role in the conversion of the harmful free-radical superoxides into harmless forms, first into hydrogen peroxide and then into oxygen and water (by another enzyme called catalase).

Citrus Bioflavonoid Complex—100 mg

Citrus fruits are known for their wealth of vitamin C, but they’re also full of bioflavonoids which may help improve health. Traditionally, bioflavanoids are thought to work by maintaining the flexibility of the walls of blood vessels.

Bioflavonoids are biologically important in protecting from free-radical damage to molecules and cell and organelle membranes. Bioflavonoids are also known to stimulate repair of damaged molecules from environmental factors that are adverse for human health and that contribute to the aging process.

Vitamin K2 (as menaquinone-7)—50 mcg

Vitamin K is an umbrella term for a large group of fat-soluble chemical compounds. Among them, the K2s, which are referred to as menaquinones, are made by bacteria in the human gut and provide a small proportion of the human vitamin K requirement. The rest of vitamin K comes from dietary supplementation from mainly vegetables such as spinach, swiss chard, parsley, cabbage, kale, broccoli, and cauliflower. Some fruits such as avocado, kiwi, and grapes also contain them.

  • In a study with 16,057 subjects (49–70 years) approximately 30 mcg/day of vitamin K2 (MK-7, MK-8, MK-9) was shown to support cardiovascular health.4
