Dual-strain digestive health supplement goes BEYOND ordinary probiotics:

When your gut’s healthy, it means great things for your digestion AND your immune system. In fact, did you know that a good majority of your immune health starts in your gut? It does! That’s why I’ve long recommended digestive health supplementation in the form of a probiotic. The key is to take one that supports your ENTIRE digestive tract—both your small and large intestine (colon). Digestive health supplement Heart Healthy Probiotic Solutions® EXTRA does just that!

With every dose of Heart Healthy Probiotic Solutions EXTRA, you’re getting 12 billion CFUs of live, healthy bacteria for complete digestive support PLUS immune health support! Plus, I’ve also included a prebiotic to nourish each probiotic strain. Taken with any of my Omega Q Plus supplements, Probiotic Solutions EXTRA helps create a powerful foundation for your heart, immune, and overall health, on a daily basis.

Two probiotic strains combine for TOTAL digestive support

Heart Healthy Probiotic Solutions EXTRA combines clinically validated Lactobacillus plantarum 299v (Lp299v) for overall digestive health with scientifically studied Bifidobacterium bifidum ROSELL-71 for added digestive comfort and microbiome support.

Lactobacillus and Bifidobacteria are two of the most prevalent and beneficial bacteria found in your gut. Lactobacilli make up the majority of the bacteria in your small intestine, while Bifidobacteria are the most common bacteria living in your colon.

Together these two probiotic strains help provide everyday digestive relief from occasional gas and bloating, support regularity, keep the bacteria in your digestive tract in balance, and help support your immune system.

Lp299v: Relieves everyday digestive distress

Clinically validated Lp299v delivers “good” bacteria to your small intestine to help reduce the occurrence of bloating, while also encouraging regularity and comfortable digestion. Plus, it provides you with everyday support for your immune health, which is something we can all benefit from.

In a multi-center, double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial, 204 subjects were administered 10 x 109 CFU Lactobacillus plantarum 299v or a matching placebo for 4 weeks. The study showed remarkable results…

  • Abdominal pain frequency reduced by 51.9% in the Lp299v group
  • Abdominal pain severity reduced by 45.2% in the Lp299v group
  • The decrease in the abdominal pain severity was 23.3% more than the placebo group!
  • Reductions in stool frequency, bloating frequency and severity and sensation of incomplete emptying were significantly greater in the probiotic group compared to the placebo

This study shows that L. plantarum 299v supplementation:

  • Helps promote overall digestive health
  • Improves occasional bloating and reduces feelings of incomplete evacuation
  • Helps promote the reduction of occasional abdominal and intestinal discomfort
  • Helps promote normal and regular bowel movements

On top of this, Lp299v has also been shown to support healthy cortisol levels—a biomarker of stress—during times of stress.1

Well-researched B. bifidum Rosell-71 delivers healthy bifido bacteria to your colon

Bifidobacteria, in particular, are KEY for keeping your digestive system in proper working order. In fact, billions of Bifidobacterium line the walls of the colon to help balance digestive flora and help provide relief from digestive discomfort. As we age, the number of these good bacteria begin to decline. B. bifidum Rosell-71 helps replenish these bifido bacteria to maintain a healthy balance of bacterial flora, which is vital to your digestive health.

So while Lp299v targets your small intestine, providing relief from digestive discomfort, B. bifidum Rosell-71 goes to work in your colon to help replenish these critical levels of good bifido bacteria.

Plus, a prebiotic nourishes the “good” bacteria in your gut

To make this digestive health supplement even MORE effective in your digestive tract, I’ve included 250 mg of short-chain fructooligosaccharides (FOS). FOS is a prebiotic soluble fiber which provides extra nourishment for both probiotic strains, in turn helping them maintain a healthy microbial composition in your gut.

Take control of your digestion with 1 tiny capsule daily!

Each tiny capsule of Heart Healthy Probiotic Solutions EXTRA delivers 12 billion CFUs of Lp299v and Rosell-71 to both your small AND large intestines, where these hearty probiotics can do their remarkable job of supporting digestive wellness and regularity, and ease digestive discomfort while helping to support immune health—something we all need!

With just one daily dose, you should start to feel a difference within a few weeks. The key, as is the case with most supplements, is to stick with it.

Unlike typical probiotics, Heart Healthy Probiotic Solutions EXTRA requires no refrigeration.

Science and Quality

Clinically validated Lp299v—supports digestive wellness in the small intestine

Lactobacillus plantarum 299v (Lp299v) is a member of the Lactobacillus species of beneficial bacteria commonly found in the human oral and intestinal mucosa. Swedish scientists discovered the strain and found that it was the most dominant strain implanted into the intestinal mucosa of 19 tested strains.

Lp299v reveals remarkable digestive relief

Scientifically studied Bifidobacterium bifidum Rosell-71—replenishes critical bifido levels in the colon (large intestine)

Bifidobacterium was first isolated in 1899 from a healthy breast-fed infant at the Pasteur Institute in France. There are currently about 30 known Bifidobacterium species. The Bifidobacterium species that inhabit the human intestinal tract are rather distinct from those that inhabit the intestines of animals. The representative species of human origin include B. longum, B. breve, B. infantis, B. bifidum, B. adoltescentis and B. pseudocatenulatum.

  • Studies on fecal bacterial composition has indicated that Bifdobacteria number gradually decreases as humans age.1 Therefore it is important to replace them with the right human intestinal tract species with supplementation.

Fructooligosaccharides

Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) are a group of naturally occurring carbohydrates that can be found in fruits and vegetables such as bananas, onions, garlic, asparagus, leeks, and Jerusalem artichokes, which contain the high concentration of FOS. FOS is dietary fiber that is not digested in the small intestine so they are ideal for use as prebiotics to stimulate the growth of beneficial intestinal tract bacteria.2

The human body requires a proper balance in the composition of the intestinal microbiota. Aging is associated with the disruption of this balance. The intake of FOS is “food” for these good bacterial colonies.3
